Our Mission

The Macquarie and Lachlan Valleys Weeds Committee (MLVWC) is a collaborative network of weed management professionals from councils, government agencies, and related organisations. Together, we work to protect the landscapes of central and western New South Wales from invasive weeds, while building knowledge and capacity across the industry.

What We Do

• Connect weed management professionals and organisations to share knowledge and resources.
• Coordinate weed inspection and control through regional projects and strategies, covering over 55% of New South Wales.
• Address emerging weed issues through education, planning, and proactive action.
